How a job actually runs.

One person, so the process is short. Here is every step, what it costs, and the honest answers to the things clients ask before they commit.

    You tell me what you need

    A package if the job is standard, a brief if it isn't. The brief is free, takes about five minutes, and there's no obligation once you've sent it.

  2. 02

    You get a price

    Packages are priced on the site. Custom briefs get a written quote within one working day — scope, deliverables, exclusions, turnaround and revision rounds, all in writing.

  3. 03

    You pay to start

    Packages are paid in full. Custom jobs take a 50% deposit. Card payment through Stripe, and the receipt sits in your portal.

  4. 04

    I work, you watch it happen

    Progress, questions and files all land in your portal, usually within a day or two rather than a fortnight. You'll never wonder where the job is — the status on your project says whose move it is.

  5. 05

    You get the files

    Code, access and files, handed over in the portal. On a custom job the balance is due here. Then it's yours, for good.

Why do I have to pay before you start?
Because unpaid work is how small studios go under. A deposit means your job has a slot in the queue and my full attention. It also means I don't have to pad my prices to cover the clients who vanish.
Do you do a free prototype or proof of concept first?
No. Building the thing is the work, not the sales pitch for it — and with AI work especially, the demo is the easy part and production is where the cost lives. What you get instead is a fixed price or a written quote, and something you can react to early once the job is live.
What if the first version isn't right?
That's what revision rounds are for — every package and quote includes them. Tell me what isn't working and I'll take another run at it. If we're still nowhere after the included rounds, we talk about whether to keep going rather than quietly billing more.
Can I get a refund?
Before I've started, yes — in full. Once work is underway a deposit covers time already spent, so it isn't refundable, but you keep everything produced up to that point. I'd rather sort out a problem than keep money I haven't earned.
Who owns the code?
You do, once the job is paid in full — source, repository and signing keys, not just a running deployment. I keep the right to describe the work in general terms unless you ask me not to.
How fast can you go?
Faster than most studios quote, because there is nobody to hand work to. A scoped AI agent is usually running the next day; a landing page takes two. Bigger builds are listed on each package, counted from the day your brief lands rather than the day you pay. The slow part is almost always deciding what to build, not building it.
Do you work with clients outside South Africa?
Yes. Prices are in rand, which usually works in your favour, and everything happens through the portal and email — no meetings needed unless you want them.
